Working for a leading Leisure Management operator with impressive sites nationwide including National Centres of Excellence, this is a fantastic opportunity to manage a large multipurpose sports centre in Kent as the General Manager.

The General Manager post is an extremely varied and challenging role, you will; formulate and deliver Business Plans fulfilling the wider social objectives required by central government via local government while achieving commercial objectives; write and deliver marketing and promotional strategies, maximizing the potential for all revenue-generating areas within the facilities; set, deliver and monitor budgetary targets to achieve the bottom line; ensure brand standards are achieved, adhering to the quality management system and providing excellence in customer service; build a positive partnership with local government and the community as a whole, and manage, support and nurture a team of managers.

To be considered you must have a strong facility management background within leisure or hospitality and be able to boast excellent commercial achievements. You must demonstrate experience in financial planning/budgetary control, sales and marketing, food and beverage, operational and event management, and you will be used to leading large teams and multiple departments within a high footfall site(s).
