Up to £45k plus excellent benefits Nationwide LA fitness is a leading health and fitness chain with a portfolio of 81 clubs nationwide and over a quarter of a million members. There has never been a more exciting time to join our company as we implement a brand new strategy to drive LA Fitness to the forefront in the health and fitness world. We are currently investing heavily in both our facilities and our team members, and are looking for inspirational managers to help us achieve our goal. We are looking for an industry leading and ambitious professional to take on the vital role of Development & Retention Manager for the Group. You will be tasked to design and implement impactful and cost effective coaching, development and training interventions which will support the delivery of high performing teams across all levels of the business. You will also deliver a range of innovative reward and recognition solutions and retention measures to encourage great performance and improve overall retention. Crucially also you will act as custodian of the overall talent management and succession plan across LA Fitness. This vital role has two equally important facets. Firstly Learning & Development. You will have control and be expected to project manage a new and industry leading graduate development programme. In addition you will develop and oversee a suite of development options to secure internal succession from front line team members through to senior management. You will also liaise with our key business partners to ensure all training programmes are the most beneficial and cost effective they can be. You will also coach and develop two management development trainers You will also work closely to develop a National Talent identification process to continually ensure LA are development their best talent and growing their own talent. You will be expected to deliver innovative reward and recognition tools to drive team engagement and recognition and be expected to contribute to the future directions of HR strategy as a Senior member of the HR team. You will be able to prove and discuss informatively your experience in designing and managing the areas discussed above. You will be able to show experience in implementing talent management and succession planning processes, of implementing and managing cost effective and innovative solutions across different media, including elearning. We are looking for strong candidates from Leisure, Hospitality and Retail and you must be willing to travel nationwide. You will ideally be based between our Head Office in Doncaster and London and can display experience of delivering development interventions in a multi site environment.
