We are looking for a service led manager to take up the Assistant Operations Manager post in one of Oxfordshire's largest and most diverse sports and health and fitness facilities.

Your core responsibilities will be to oversee the day-to-day running of the centre on a shift basis, ensuring all activities run smoothly and that customers receive the best possible service during their time there. You will be directly accountable for the lifeguarding team and pool area but also manage the whole centre and the personnel within it as a Duty Manager. Your daily routine will be highly multifunctional; opening/closing the club, supervising team members, solving daily operational difficulties, dealing with any member queries, touring prospective members and getting involved with organizing any member activities that are going on.

If you are successful in your application you will benefit from an in-depth training schedule and structured development-plan, giving you the platform to move into higher management.

We are looking for an existing manager within the Leisure Industry who has presence and personality, who can take ownership of the centre and make things happen. You will have managed and coached teams before and have a highly developed sense of customer service. Above all, we are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed in the post.
