11 month contract starting in August

Your primary focus as the sports development and strategy manager will be to lead on the delivery of an integrated approach to providing a comprehensive sport and leisure service that will deliver improved participation in physical activity and sports participation within the community. You will provide support within your team to establish more effective relationships with local, regional and national partners and stakeholders so that through investment and influence, delivery on key objectives can be met. There will be further involvement in the Olympic Business plans and how it links in with current strategy.

It is essential that you have a relevant degree or academic qualification with the ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure and balance work loads while working to tight time frames. You must have worked in a similar capacity, managing a team with successful experience in managing externally funded projects and be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask and communicate at a high level with senior management. This is a fantastic opportunity and we are only looking for high achievers with a proven track record so recent Grads need not apply.
