Job Spec:
Our Client is one of the leading entertainment nightclub, bar & restaurant operators. An excellent chance to be a General Manager for a credible sparkling lifestyle bar, kitchen & nightclub, we are looking for a Manager at the top of their game. The General Manager is to be responsible for all aspects of managing the unit. In addition you will be tasked with constantly challenging the current operation and researching new opportunities to increase revenue and profitability in their business. The General Manager has overall responsibility for ensuring the unit is operated and maintained to maximise profitability while ensuring that company standards, policies and procedures are maintained.
Person spec:
The successful applicants will already be operating at General Manager level within the late night entertainment sector.
Proven track record of successfully running an aspirational venue with large turnover.
Be able to motivate and work as a team
Demonstrate full understanding and control of the Profit and Loss accounts and identify and solve any problems that affect sales and profit.
Ability to delegate, priorities and handle pressure
Motivated to succeed
Responsible for management level direct reports and all people management responsibilities listed above in regards to those managers.
Ensure departmental financial targets are set and communicated for all members of the management team.
Lead weekly Management meetings using detailed, pre-prepared feedback in regards to the unit performance as a whole.
Generate sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and profitability in the venue as a whole.
Needs to be personal licence holder.
