Deputy Manager – Flagship Large Capacity combined bar, restaurant and late night club - Manchester Contract Type: Permanent Location: Manchester Salary: £28k-£32k Job Type: Management Description: Deputy Manager at a Large Capacity combined bar, restaurant and late night club in Manchester. Exciting opportunity to work for one of the leading operators in the late night sector at a premium branded venue. This combined bar, restaurant and late nightclub concept will need a dynamic Deputy manager. The role of the Deputy Manager is to manage all aspects of the unit while on shift. In addition the role of the Deputy Manager is to assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the business, while being overall responsible for the day to day running of the unit. The Deputy Manager will have direct report responsibility for the Restaurant Manager and full accountability for the business in the General Manager’s absence. The Deputy Manager will assist the management team in operating and maintaining the unit to maximize profitability while ensuring that company standards, policies and procedures are maintained. This position would ideally suit an experienced Deputy Manager or a junior General Manager from the late night sector. Candidate spec: Proven track record of successfully managing at a high volume branded site. Have a friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing and confident nature Strong presence and hands on management style Be passionate about looking after patrons & corporate clients Attention to detail Excellent knowledge in financial control - P&L's, Labour, GP's Ability to delegate, priorities and handle pressure Be able to motivate and work with team ethic Experience with food operation Be motivated to succeed |
