We are looking for an additional team member to join the member services team to be based at the Head Office for a leading health club operator in Hatfield. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role supporting the Customer Relations Department: The key responsibilities and objectives will be:

· Taking a high number of incoming member calls, answering queries and ensuring that advice is given in accordance with the Member’s Handbook and that records are made and kept in accordance with standard ways of working. Logging of all complaints.

· Liaison with Head of Departments, General Managers and Regional Directors as appropriate for agreement when preparing a response to member correspondence (Letters and Group Email).

· Acknowledging, investigating and preparing a response to member correspondence addressed to Member Relations Team and CEO and working within agreed deadlines.

Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of working within a club or club support customer service environment and in managing member feedback, posses complaint resolution and problem solving skills. have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a cool calm and collected manner especially when dealing with telephone complaints. You will need to have advanced pc skills working with MS Office, Excel and in house databases.
Hours of work will be typically Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
