We are looking for a sales professional with a proven track record to actively promote and sell a range of premium golf club memberships/society days & functions and increase the green fee players at this small, friendly site in Surrey. You will need to business develop and organise outreach programmes, build partnerships and long term relationships with local business communities, sporting and leisure organisations as well as developing both the youth and lady membership markets.

The sales department will consist of only you, so you will get a chance to organise the sales how you want. We want candidates who have had experience in a proactive target driven sales environment (eg. health clubs, hotel or conference sales), with an excellent working knowledge of working with prospect/membership databases.

You will need to be self- motivated, target driven and have excellent time management skills. There are opportunities to upsell secondary spend such as food and beverage and tee sponsorship and we need candidates who are winners and who will see the huge potential in introducing significant new revenue streams to the business.

Whilst it is not essential it would be hugely advantageous for applicants to have a genuine interest and knowledge of the game. Driving licence is essential. Our client is offering a very competitive basic salary of circa £16k with a realistic and highly achievable uncapped OTE circa £25k with huge potential to further your career.
