General Manager – Midlands
up to £55K basic plus car plus 50% OTE Midlands David Lloyd Leisure Group is the leading racquets, health & fitness club group in the UK with 77 clubs across the UK and a further 9 in Europe, we have over 500,000 members, 5000 staff and an annual turnover of £330m. Our 4 brands are synonymous with quality and are David Lloyd, Next Generation, Amida and the Harbour Clubs. We are very keen to talk to high quality, experienced commercially focused General Managers who would like to run one of our flagship Family Health and Racquet Clubs in the UK with an average annual turnover of between £5 and £8m and a membership base of between 4 and 8000. To apply you will be an existing General or Regional Manager with proven track record driving a multi-million pound business, from either the commercial leisure, retail or hospitality sectors. Ideally you will have worked with a strong branded product with KPIs revolving around a balanced scorecard framework. We are not just looking for a good business manager, but an individual who has the skills and charisma to motivate and nurture their team of up to 80 full and part time staff, with the willingness to engage with members and strive for service excellence. You must be able to demonstrate judgment, drive, influence and people management skills in driving the profitability of the business with a particular focus on attracting and retaining members while ensuring operational efficiency and delivery of brand standards in a highly competitive multi faceted sales focused business.
